Coles Early Childhood Developement Assessment

Now this is one non stop little boy!!! And smart as a whip. He passed all his tests with flying colours. The Doctors and staff said it was nothing short of amazing.
He was so well behaved I had too wonder who he was...LOL
But then he went for speech therapy as his cleft palate has made it hard for him to pronounce some words and he couldn't sit still for a minute and we had too reschedule
Go figure.
He is spending extra time with Uncle Joseph at Grandpas house so Grandma can get caught up on some housework. Alone he and Hanna are easily manageable but together they are
T R O U B L E.

Hannas Trip to the Dentist

Hanna went to the dentist on Wednesday the 14th and had her 4 front teeth pulled out. She had no stitches and minimal bleeding and no swelling. When her Mom was a little girl her Dad and Grandma and I took her too Saskatoon to have the same thing done. Her face was covered in blood, all swollen and she was in alot of pain.
What a difference!!!
Hannas next visit to the denist is for fillings and the sooner date available was MAY!!!

Kaylas Update

Kayla finaly ate baby food. Sweet Potaotes. So now she can hold her bottle, eat pablum and now jarred baby food. Next she'll be crawling as her knees will support her for several minutes, and her legs go forward.
She enjoys lying on her tummy watching her brother and sister play, or lying next too them and watching TV.

November 11, 2007

While remembering all the Veterans, too which my Parents and Father Inlaw were, may we also remember all those Grandparents raising their Grandchildren.
Some days it seems very much like you are going to War...:(
I am raising my Grandaughter Hanna who is 3, her brother Cole who is 2, and her sister Kayla who is 6mths. I have the help of my son Joseph who is 14, or would that be hinderance? Some days it is hard too tell...:(
Their Mom and Dad are incarcerated at present, but will get out next year, and hopefully they will be rehabilitated and make great parents. They are taking parenting classes so you never know, right???
As this is my first blog, prompted after I read the blog of "Mom2my6pack", I will keep it short.
now if I can only find time to post something witty each day.
Happy Rememberance Day
